The voice of melody

For the Lord shall comfort Zion, he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving and the voice of melody.
Second Nephi. 8:3

Joy and gladness will abound

where the love of God is found.

And the voice of melody

never more a threnody.

Comfort in the wilderness

to all those now in distress

is assured by God on high

when we reach His gardens nigh.

Though travail sticks like a leech,

Eden's still within our reach

through the Christ, who is our goal;

making us completely whole.
