Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared.

Prepare me, Lord, on thy right hand,
that I may see the Promised Land.
Let angels guide me through the murk
that in these awful times doth lurk.
Almighty God, have mercy on
my blinded eyes, to see the dawn;
and on thy pillars rest secure --
where hope and strength ageless endure!
