In its search for new cuisine

fast food joints don’t favor lean.

In their race for appetizers

They use fat and tranquilizers.

Anything that clogs the heart,

Gives us thirst and makes us fart,

Is the stuff they’re looking for --

causing blood pressure to soar.

Nations starve and children faint,

But we chow down without restraint --

Then diet in a mad attempt

From corpulence to be exempt.
