I look for peace that's personal,

for comfort from the Christ;

the greatest Healer of them all --

his life he sacrificed.

If I do not survive the blight

that hostage holds the earth,

I trust that in His tender hands

I'll find my better worth.

But if I'm spared to carry on,

I'll do my level best

to praise his name up to the skies

and testify I'm blessed.
