He that is of a proud heart stirreth up strife: but he that putteth his trust in the Lord shall be made fat.

The haughty seek out strife like cake;
the more they find, the more they take.
But those who trust in God grow lush
with stillness that makes proud men blush.
If peace and plenty you desire,
burn your conceit upon a pyre!
