From the Wall Street Journal. Tuesday March 20 2018

An Uber Technologies Inc. self-driving car struck
and killed a pedestrian in Arizona in the first
known fatality involving an autonomous vehicle,
an accident that could stir regulators to action and
damage the public perception of the young industry.

An Uber Technologies car
Sent a pedestrian far
Into the next plane
Where she must explain
Why no one was driving said car.

Facebook confronted an intensifying crisis as
political leaders in the U.S.and Europe called
for aggressive inquiries into whether the technology
giant failed to stop improper access and handling of user data . . .

We’re turning on Facebook at last;
It’s enemies now have amassed
The facts and the will
To push it downhill
And have Mr. Zucker harassed.

Technology shares dragged down stock indexes, jolting investors
who have rallied behind a handful of the hot tech companies
and raising fresh questions about the resiliency of a
nine-year-old bull market in U.S. stocks.

The stock market’s nervous today,
As prices start falling away.
They say it is tech
That’s causing this heck;
Mark Zuckerberg’s starting to pray.
