And the regulations of the government were destroyed, because of the secret combination of the friends and kindreds of those who murdered the prophets.
3 Nephi 7:6
I murder the prophets whenever I cease
to live with my brothers in goodwill and peace.
I put them to death when I choose to behave
in carnal frenzy or as cunning knave.
Their lives have no meaning to me if I fail
to heed them and put my own soul up for sale.
God help me remember all prophets today,
and support ev'ry ruler who follows Thy way!
